I made this cardigan from “adventurer ribbed sweater fleece” in plum from surge fabric shop. I love this stuff, it is 52”at only 9.00 per yard. This sweater fleece is soft and completely snuggly. I struggled a. It with the band around th neck, that runs to the bottom of the sweater. I need to do a better job pinning next time.

Pietra Pants
I sewed up a great pattern by the newly rebranded Closet Core Patterns. These were quite straightforward to sew, the directions in the PDF pattern were simple, clear, and easy to follow. The instructional videos that Heather Lou put together in her “learn how to sew clothing” video class were fantastic. Since this was the first time I’ve ever made these I didn’t want to take a chance with my favorite fabrics from my stash, so I used a brown denim purchased from fabric.com that’s been hanging around in my closet for wily it’s a while.
Megan Nielsen Darling Ranges Top
Here are two Megan Neilsen Darling Tops made up in linen. The blue grey (top) is a 100% laundered linen from Iseefabric. The purple (bottom) is a Kauffman Brussles Washer linen blend (rayon and linen) from Fabric.com.
I used some beautiful mussel shell buttons from one of my favorite online stores Wawak.
The linen from Isee is more expensive and a much higher quality the linen blend from Fabric.com, hovever, I think I prefer the flexibility of the Brussles Washer linen. It is a bit softer and the drape is a little nicer,
